#Disney #Planes Fire and Rescue in Theaters July 18


I received complementary tickets to this movie. All opinions are my own.

Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue arrives in theaters today, but my 5-year-old son and I attended an advanced screening with my 5 year old son and his cousins.  We all loved it and recommend it for you and your kids of any age.  It’s rated PG, so you won’t find anything inappropriate, just good fun.

Planes: Fire and Rescue is the sequel to Disney’s Cars spinoff from 2013, Planes.  We enjoyed the original, but the sequel is so much better. The action was awesome and the humor was clever.  My favorite thing was the bigger message of the movie, a tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of real-live emergency rescue personnel.  “They fly in when others are flying out.”

Go see Planes: Fire and Rescue!  The whole family will enjoy it.

Is #Maleficent with #AngelinaJolie Too Scary for Children?


I was thrilled to see an advanced screening of Disney’s live action film, Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning.  My expectations about how Disney would stay true to a classic without simply retelling the story, were surpassed.  It’s absolutely a must see; the question is, how old should a child be to see this movie?
